Harmony Hawks to sing Star-Spangled Banner for C.R. Kernels

The Harmony Hawks will sing The Star-Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful before the start of the Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball game on Monday, July 24. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Harmony Hawk Bob Nance, a big supporter of the Kernels, arranged the deal with Kernels management.

All members of the chorus are asked to meet outside Veterans Stadium around 6:00 p.m. for warm-ups. As time gets closer to 7:00 p.m. the Harmony Hawks will be escorted into the stadium and down to the field to sing the two songs. Please be on time!

Uniform will be: Burgundy shirt, black pants, black shoes and socks.

For those wishing to stay for the ball game, Bob has arranged free tickets for those singing. Make sure to bring your appetite that night, it's $1.00 hot dog night!
