When this quartet was formed back in 2001-02, they had problems finding a name not used by a Society quartet. They considered The Already Been Taken Name Quartet. Their name Profound Sound was actually reached by accident. This quartet can prepare and perform nearly 40 tunes, most of which are themed on love and relationships from a "guy's" perspective.
